Lil' Indy Track Rules

Safety Equipment Mandatory....Helmet-(Snell approved), Racing Suit or Jacket and Long Pants, Neck Brace and Gloves....For Your Safety.

Kart must have Visible numbers in front, back, left and right sides.
No more than 2 digits, unless previously authorized.
In case of identical numbers, the person with number senority will get to keep their original number, and the other person or persons will have to change to a new number. Number must be 6 inches or more.

Fighting, the use of Alcohol and or Drugs are Prohibited.
Any driver found abusing this rule will be disqualified for the day or night and leave the premises.

**NO ALCOHOL**
Anyone caught abusing this rule will be asked to leave the premises and if need be, will be escorted off by a Law Enforcement Officer.

"Driver Is Responsible" for his/her actions as well as the actions of his/her pit crew.
Abusive Language or gestures toward any persons Will Not Be Tolerated. Immediate Disqualification will result and Driver will be told to leave. ANY DISCRETION MAY BE DISCUSSED IN AN ORDERLY MANNER WITH OFFICIALS, BUT WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THE OFFICIAL HAS THE FINAL SAY.

Do Not Drive Your Kart In The Pits, shut your motor off at the scales and then push it back to your pit area. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Drivers meetings are Mandatory.

Karts jumping the start will lose a placel.

In the event of multiple cautions in each class, Heat Races will be shortened to, and or Feature Races will be cut back to 10 or 12 laps. There is a 7 minute time limit on all Feature Races.

You must enter the race with a Full Tank of Fuel. There will be NO REFUELING during any race. If you choose to do so, you will go to the rear.

Working on your kart while on the track is prohibited.After 1st heat if you change a motor you go to the tail of the Feature lineup

All rules are to apply to each competitor equally. Track Officials will adhere to these rules. If a problem occures during a race and the race has already been completed, its IMPOSSIBLE TO RERUN A RACE. Every effort will be made to insure that the problem does not happen again. We welcome your comments and suggestions, as long as they are made in a calm and rational manner.

You must be ready to race when your class is called to the starting grid or you will miss yur chance to race. You must be lined up by the white flag lap from the previous class in the appropriate order. Please pay careful attention to the line up board as it will show your racing order. If there are any changes to be made please let someone know as soon as possible.

If any driver stops on the track, for any problems, and removes their racing gear, or get out of their kart they will be considered finished for that particular event.

ADULT FLAG RULES

GREEN FLAG
When green flag waves, that constitutes start of race and no alternates will be added.

YELLOW FLAG
If at any time you stop on the racetrack during your race you will go tail. Once you have been involed in two yellow or red flags in the same event, you are disqualified.

RED FLAG
In a red flag incident SLOWLY bring your kart to a stop before the crash scene. All red flags are closed NO crews on track

BLACK FLAG
If black flag is waved at you, go to pits immediately, If pointed at you , you have been given a warning.

STOPPING ON THE TRACK:
Any driver stopping on the track to protest will be disqualified.

ADDITIONALLY Lil' Indy is private property. the management reserves the right to refuse entry onto premises of any individual and futher reserves the right to eject from the premises any individual at any time,if at our discretion, we determine the individual's presence or conduct is not in the best interest of the raceway. In addition,the management of Lil, Indy reserves the right to suspend, bar or fine any participant who in our judgment,is engaged in misconduct, or whose presence or conduct is deemed not to be in the best interest of Lil' Indy. The duration and severity of any action will be determined solely by the management of Lil' Indy.
